Fryman turned around and scored another 3 points for the Bluejackets, while Berea struck back, with 2 of their own, finally putting them on the board.

Nicholas County held on to their lead through the end of the first quarter, with a score of 12-11.

However, the Pirates charged forward against the Jackets, scoring one 3-pointer after another.

During the entire second quarter, Nicholas County was held off by Berea and only scored a total of 5 points.

Going into the half, the Bluejackets trailed by 16 points, with a score of 33-17. Coming into the second half of the game, a foul was called on Nicholas County, sending Berea to the line. Making 1 of 2 shots, the score soared to 34-17.

Even with their free throws strong, and their defense even stronger, the Berea Pirates proved to be too much for the Bluejackets. Nicholas County lost the game by 25 points, with a final score of 75-50.
